Power To Condone Delay Under Sec 5 Limitation Act Applies To Special Or Local Laws If It Is Not Expressly Excluded

The Supreme Court in Superintending Engineer, Dehar Power Circle, Bhakra Beas Management Board (PW) Slapper and another Vs Excise and Taxation Officer has held that the power to condone delay under Section 5 of the Limitation Act is applicable to proceedings under special or local laws if it is not expressly excluded by such laws.
